Parish Family Life Ministry
Our mission is to support, strengthen, and celebrate Catholic family life by fostering faith, love, prayer, and service within the home and parish community. Guided by the Holy Spirit and the teachings of the Catholic Church, we seek to nurture marriages, encourage parents, engage children and youth, honor grandparents and elders, and build a welcoming community where families and singles grow together in Christ.
The Parish Family Life Committee will celebrate and promote respect for life at every stage, from the womb to the tomb. We will offer direction and support for those affected by unplanned pregnancy, single parenthood, divorce, death of a parent or child, and all challenges of family and single life.
In cooperation with other St. Luke parish ministries and committees, we will help plan and implement community building events and activities. Additionally, we will share pro-life and pro-family information with the parish community through the St. Luke website, social media and emails.
The Parish Family Life committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6 pm for a potluck dinner and planning meeting. All parishioners are welcome to attend. Please let us know if you need help with transportation to attend our meetings.
